At Our Lady of Lourdes, we believe children and teens are not just the future of the Church — they are the Church now. We offer vibrant, age-appropriate ways for kids and youth to grow in faith, build community, and feel at home in worship.
OUR KID'S PROGRAMS
(Ages 4-10)
CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD
Sundays during Mass
During Sunday Mass, kids in K–3rd grade are invited to our Café Meeting Room to hear the Gospel in a way they can understand. Guided by our caring and committed leaders, this special time helps children connect with God’s Word through storytelling and hands-on activities. They return to the sanctuary before Communion. A joyful way for young hearts to grow in faith!
Children's Choir
4th Sunday of the month at our 10:30 AM Mass
Our youngest voices help lead the congregation in worship! We rehearse our music together every Sunday at 9:45 AM for this leadership role. Open to all kids who love to sing — no prior experience needed.
KidZone Children’s Chapel
Saturdays & Sundays Children of all ages, moods, energies, and abilities are welcome to worship with us! For kids who are wiggly, giggly, or just need some extra room, we offer a space in our Children’s Chapel where parents can enjoy Mass—and kids can be kids!
Children’s Jam with Praise Band
Sundays
A joyful, hands-on music experience for kids to express their faith through rhythm and praise as they choose an instrument at the altar and join our praise band during our closing song.

Middle & High School Youth Group
Our youth group is a place where teens can be themselves, make real connections, and grow in their faith. Through games, service projects, real conversations, and moments that matter, every gathering is filled with energy, purpose, and community. Come hang out, ask questions, have fun, and grow together in a supportive, Christ-centered community.
worship & waffles
1st Sunday of each month at 9:30 AM
Families gather for a short, kid-focused worship followed by — you guessed it — waffles! It’s community, faith, and breakfast all in one.
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
Children are invited into a life of faith through the sacraments—special moments of grace that mark their spiritual growth. It starts with Baptism, welcoming them into the Church. Around age seven, they prepare for First Reconciliation and First Communion, learning about forgiveness and the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. In their early teens, many receive Confirmation, deepening their commitment to live as disciples filled with the Holy Spirit. These sacraments are more than traditions—they are powerful encounters with God’s grace, celebrated within the loving support of family and parish community.
