Plant & Gardening
Ministry
Cultivating beauty
and belonging
Our parish gardens are more than plants and shrubs—they are sacred spaces that reflect our love for God’s creation and offer beauty and peace to all who visit Lourdes. On the third Saturday of each month at 9 AM, we gather with Doug and a team of volunteers to plant, prune, weed, and tend the grounds that welcome our parish family and guests.
This ministry is open to everyone—no green thumb required! All you need is a smile, a willingness to get your hands a little dirty, and a love for being outdoors. Whether you’re planting flowers, trimming hedges, or simply enjoying the fellowship, every act of care adds to the beauty of our parish home.
Every 3rd saturday of the Month at 9 AM Mass
The Plant & Garden Ministry is about more than yardwork—it’s about stewardship and fellowship. By caring for the earth on our parish grounds, we live out our call to protect creation and make Lourdes a place of welcome and beauty.
Each gathering is different: sometimes planting flowers, other times trimming shrubs, pulling weeds, or spreading mulch. Whatever the task, there’s always laughter, teamwork, and the joy of seeing our efforts bloom.
This ministry is a chance to connect—with creation, with one another, and with God. Every act of care becomes a small prayer, reminding us that all of creation reflects the Creator’s love.

ALL ARE
WELCOME HERE
(WHERE ALL MEANS ALL.)
Seriously. Every week at Our Lady of Lourdes, Christians and non-Christians, believers and doubters, seekers and skeptics, the fired-up and totally worn out, all come together to explore what it means to say yes to something real, hopeful, and new.
