Care Portal

CarePortal is a powerful tool that helps us put our faith into action! Through this online network, local child welfare and community professionals share needs from families in crisis—things like food, clothing, furniture, or rent assistance—and our parish community responds in real time. When a caseworker identifies a family struggling with basics like beds, rent, or groceries, we receive an alert and can respond directly.  Each need is verified by professionals, ensuring help goes where it’s most needed. By getting involved with our CarePortal team, you’ll help keep children safe and families strong, offer dignity and hope to adult neighbors in need, and experience how small acts of love can transform lives.

Join our CarePortal team and be the hands and heart of Christ in our community!

How It Works

CarePortal provides the secure platform, training, and support network.  Our team provides the heart, hands, and follow-through.  Together, we turn technology into transformation.

  • Uncovering a need
A child welfare or community professional identifies a concrete need that could stabilize or strengthen a family.

  • Submitting the request
The professional enters the request in CarePortal; supervisors and agency leads have guidance and checkpoints to improve quality and appropriateness of requests.

  • Alerting local responders
The platform notifies nearby church teams and community members.

  • Coordinating the response
Responders connect through the platform to provide items or assistance.

  • Closing the loop & tracking impact
When a response is delivered, the request is marked fulfilled and attributed (children served, value provided).

WELCOME HERE

(WHERE ALL MEANS ALL.)

Seriously.  Every week at Our Lady of Lourdes, Christians and non-Christians, believers and doubters, seekers and skeptics, the fired-up and totally worn out, all come together to explore what it means to say yes to something real, hopeful, and new.
