First Holy Communion This program welcomes the baptized to the Lord’s Table and helps the whole family grow in their own sacramental understanding. Preparation for the Sacrament of First Eucharist is offered to children during their second year of faith formation. Parent and child sessions take place over four consecutive Sundays after the 9:30 a.m. Mass in the Spring. A copy of the baptismal certificate is required. The children’s retreat takes place on the Saturday prior to the reception of the celebration of First Eucharist.
